Update: According to , the scene is now clear. Police say a Chevrolet El Camino struck a utility police on Route 104 and heavy rescue was called in. The driver of the car was taken by East Quogue Fire Department ambulance to Brookhaven Hospital.
Previous: A motorist is reportedly trapped in a car that was in a crash on Route 104 near Woodleigh Place in East Quogue.
According to reports, the victim is in critical condition and aviation units won't fly due to the weather. The is on the scene, as well as the Quogue Village Police and New York State Police.
Route 104 is closed north of Old Country Road and South of the Lewis Street intersection.
