2-Car Crash Ties Up Montauk Highway Traffic in Hampton Bays

At least one victim injured during Wednesday afternoon accident.

Two vehicles collided in the westbound lane of Montauk Highway in Hampton Bays at approximately 3:15 p.m. Wednesday in front of the Shell gas station just east of Route 24. One woman sustained injuries in the crash between a silver Mini Cooper and a larger red vehicle and was transported to Peconic Bay Medical Center by the Hampton Bays Volunteer Ambulance Corps.
