Always A Something New At World Village Fair Trade Market!

Have you tried Dean's Beans Fair Trade Coffee?

World Village Fair Trade Market is your local, one-stop Fair Trade shopping destination.  This month we introduced a new Fair Trade coffee company called Dean's Beans because we wanted to highlight Dean's wonderful coffee and recent Nobel Peace Prize for Business!  If you haven't tried his coffees, take a stroll up to the Hamlet Green just east of the movie theatre in Hampton Bays to the World Village Fair Trade Market upstairs on the west end of the complex.  It's a great way to learn more about his work and our mission to promote a justice by the cup!
Also new this month are the sweet, rounded baby baskets made by a women's cooperative located in the Bolgatanga region of Ghana.  That's why we call these baskets for short, "baby Bolga baskets."  They are sturdy, beautifully designed with different colors, topped with a leather wrapped handle.  They make a great gift alone but can be filled with coffees, teas or other small items.  Another item that has returned is the wire fruit bowl made from recycled metals and what makes them unique is their made into the design of words like "Love" - "Hope" - "Peace" - "Sun Surf Sand" or "Live Love Laugh", etc.  They can also be hung on the walls for decor.

In the area of paper, we are carrying a large assortment of brightly decorated all occasion cards from Rwanda, Phillippines or Madagascar.  These handcrafted cards are created by individuals supporting their siblings or families, mostly women's cooperatives and the cards from Madagascar are pressed flowers.

There's always something new to discover at the World Village Fair Trade Market. We've continued our 40% off sale through the summer on selected items and many of these products are great gifts at low, low prices.

Come shop where your time is not wasted, you learn a world of things by just perusing the store and where your dollars are saving lives in over 30 countries. Donations are also accepted at the Fair Trade store to help support the many orphan programs we supply food and education to as well as our expanding to include programs for sustainable agriculture through the expertise of Bill Erdmann of Hidden Ridge Plants.  Always something new at the World Village Fair Trade Market~!
