This week's brush fire has evoked memories of the 1995 brush fire that ravaged 6,800 acres of pine lands during four days in August.
Assistant Fire Chief Bill Dalton, said when he stepped into this week's fire, memories of the heat of the 1995 fire flooded back to him.
He also remembered the the flood of help that came, just as it did this week and he said he felt the need to do all he could this week to help, just as was done for his department in 1995.
