Want to Thank Someone Special? Post a 'Thank You' Announcement on Patch

This Thanksgiving, share your gratitude with the Patch community.

Maybe it's a teacher or coach who helped your child achieve a goal. Maybe it's a local business owner who helps you get what you need all year long. Maybe it's a volunteer fire department that came to the rescue, or the electrician who helped you regain power following Hurricane Sandy.

Whomever it may be, why not express your gratitude in a special way? You can post a "Thank You" announcement on Patch. And with Thanksgiving approaching, it's a great way to show someone you care.

Here's how to post an announcement on Patch:

1. Visit our Announcements page by clicking here.
2. Click "Add an Announcement" on the right side of the page. Follow the steps and be sure to select "Thank You" as the category.
3. Click "Post My Announcement" at the bottom of the page, and it's live.

On Thanksgiving, we'll collect everyone's "Thank You" notes into one big article for the whole community to see.

If you have any questions, email editor Erica Jackson at Erica.Jackson@Patch.com.

From Westhampton-Hampton Bays Patch to you, "thank you" for posting your "thank you" announcement.
