Sept. 26: Five Things Happening This Week

Mark your calendars with these events.

1. Public Hearing on Changes to the Town Code Regarding Landmarks and Historic Districts

At 6 p.m. at Southampton Town Hall on Tuesday, the board will hear from the public on proposed changes to the town code on Historic Districts. Find out more

2. Hands-On Music

Bring the kids to the Quogue Library on Wednesday at 1:30 p.m for a free music program. Children up to four-years-old can take part in this music class that includes puppets and instruments.

3. Fun and Fitness for 50's and Over!

Start your week off right with some exercise at the Hampton Bays Library. The free class is open to residents 50 and older. It starts at 10:30 a.m.

4. Southampton Senior Services Volunteer Workshop

Looking to give back to the community? Why not volunteer at the Southampton Senior Center.  A workshop for potential volunteers is being held on Monday at 3 p.m. at the senior center, 25 Ponquogue Avenue in Hampton Bays.

5. Yoga

Always wanted to try Yoga, but haven't had a chance. There are two free classes this week. One at the Quogue Library on Friday at 10:15 a.m. and a another at the Hampton Bays Library on Wednesday at 6 p.m.
