Question of the Day: Do You Agree With Suffolk’s Proposed Cell Phone Registration Legislation?

Patch wants to hear what you have to say.

Suffolk County officials are working on new legislation that would require those purchasing prepaid cell phones to present photo I.D. Supporters of the the legislation, which is sponsored by Legislator Kate Browning, say that pre-paid cell phones are easily usable for those conducting illegal activities.

Should purchasers of prepaid cell phones be required to show a photo I.D.?
