Patch Poll: Should Westhampton Beach/Quogue Create an Emergency Shelter

After Irene came and went, both the mayors of said the creation of an emergency shelter in Westhampton Beach should be explored.

During the storm, all Southampton, Westhampton Beach and Quogu residents who were had to go to the town . 

Westhampton Beach Mayor Conrad Teller said that in an emergency situation, the may be too far to travel for Westhampton Beach residents and suggested that the village look into having a shelter open at one of Westhampton Beach School District's schools.

Patch wants to know: Do you think an emergency shelter should be created closer to Westhampton Beach?
