In Photos: Summer Has Arrived in the Hamptons

Memorial Day weekend celebrations kicked off the season in Westhampton Beach.

The significance of Memorial Day is two-fold. First and foremost, it's the day to reflect in honor of the Americans who put forth their lives to serve our country. It's also the official start to summer. In the village of Westhampton Beach over the weekend, residents were celebrating both. They were out shopping on , attending and relaxing at the .
