What Do You Want To See Here? [Empty in Westhampton-Hampton Bays]

A new series, asking readers their thoughts on empty buildings along Montauk Highway.

While there are plenty of businesses thriving in the Westhampton-Hampton Bays area, there are more than a handful of empty or boarded up storefronts in the community, a testament to the hard times the area, and the country faces.

Over the next few months, Westhampton-Hampton Bays Patch is going to spotlight these vacant businesses to foster discussion in the community on what can, should and could be done to rehab these abandoned places.

This gas station is located on Montauk Highway in East Quogue.

An all-season "farm stand" with an enclosed gourmet store that caters to all seasons/holidays. Fruits, flowers, plants, pies/goodies/treats, vegetables, specialty foods, unique gifts/decorations should be offered.

I would like to see any business not run nor hires illegal aliens. Give LI back to where it should be. Plus they can't hang around outside the business waiting to take jobs from Americans.
