A new series, asking readers their thoughts on empty buildings along Montauk Highway.
While there are plenty of businesses thriving in the Westhampton-Hampton Bays area, there are more than a handful of empty or boarded up storefronts in the community, a testament to the hard times the area, and the country faces.
Over the next few months, Westhampton-Hampton Bays Patch is going to spotlight these vacant businesses to foster discussion in the community on what can, should and could be done to rehab these abandoned places.
This gas station is located on Montauk Highway in East Quogue.
