A great bakery should be celebrated just as much as any destination restaurant. Whether it’s the perfect cut of filet mignon, a savory pot of coq au vin or a buttery croissant layered to delicate perfection — good food is worth traveling for.
Serving up some of the finest baked goods in the Hamptons for 23-years, Westhampton’s is famous for its extensive selection of cakes, cookies and breakfast treats. For those in the know, the bakery’s fried croissants, which are filled with raspberry jelly are legendary and well worth waiting in line for on a Sunday morning — The buttery pastry, which is lightly fried, stuffed with sticky, sweet jam and dusted with sugar is just one of the confectionary delights offered every day.
With Easter being the Superbowl of sweets and just around the corner, the bakery is upping its game to feature a cornucopia of holiday confections that are sure to delight both kids and adults alike.
Easter special orders include an egg-shaped strawberry shortcake and a buttery almond pound cake, both of which can be ordered the day before the holiday.
Through the holiday, the bakery’s shelves are stocked with milk and white chocolate bunnies, so you can add them to your Easter basket bounty.
When setting your holiday table for Easter morning's breakfast, cute little meringue chicks and colorful chocolate eggs make a festive decorative touch.
Traditional hot-crossed buns will also be available, which are a walnut and raisin baked treat, glazed with white icing in the sign of the cross.
