Dorothee Miller, 78, of Quogue passed away on Dec. 20 after a five-week battle with cirrhosis of the liver.
Miller, according to an obituary published by The New York Times, worked as a part-time fashion and television model for the Harry Conover Agency and Pendleton. She grew up in Richmond Hill, NY and attended Jamaica High School and received two Associate Degrees from Queen's College.
Miller, is survived by her sister, brother-in-law, her two sons, and two daughter-in-laws and six grandchildren.
The New York Times reports that Miller wished not to have a funeral or memorial service. Her cremains will be scattered across the Long Island Sound. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to the Betty Ford Legacy Fund in memory of Dorothee Miller by calling 800-854-9211 x4105.
