Memorial Service Planned for Michael Lenahan

Visitation is Wednesday at O'Connell Funeral Home in Southampton and a memorial service is set for Thursday at New Moon Cafe in East Quogue.

Southampton resident Michael Lenahan, the owner of , died suddenly Saturday. Born Feb. 17, 1967, he was 44.

"Michael was well known and respected throughout the community," his family said. "His love of nature was reflected in the beautiful woodworking creations and care of the trees he nurtured."

Lenahan is survived by his wife, Stacy Campsey Lenahan, and children Brenden, Tyler, Colby and Riley. The son of Wilaret and Frank Lenahan and brother of Butch, Bill, Kelli Normoyle, Patrick, Dan and the late John Lenahan, Lenahan is uncle to 12 nieces and nephews, Bill, Aubrey, Liam, Shannon, Vance, Shane, Lily, Trinny, Travis, Paige, Sadie and Austin.

Visitation is Wednesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at . A private cremation will follow. There will be a memorial service Thursday at 2 p.m. at in East Quogue.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the , 633 Third Ave., 14th Floor, New York, NY 10017 would be appreciated by the family.

It was so heart wrenching to hear about Mike. The Lenahan family is in our thoughts and prayers through these trying days. May you find hope and peace in each other. Lorrie and Ed Thompson

Please accept my deepest condolences. Mike was "my tree guy" for years in Noyac and Southampton Village. He was the best in the field and the nicest man on earth. We 2 shared a mutual positive energy when Mike and crew did (all the hands on) work. I moved back to NYC and just today learned of Mike's passing. So very sorry. Leonard Barton
