For a change we start the week with difficult energy for the fixed signs, Taurus, Leo, Scorpio and Aquarius, Saturn in Scorpio is squaring Mercury in Aquarius. This is not a earth shattering energy but it is a stuck energy, we get stuck in the idea we are right, we get stuck in black and white, we get stuck in having to prove our point or way is the only way. We will see this played out all around us and if we have fixed planets between the degree’s of 21 and 24 you may get pulled into this game of one way is the only way. My advice for everyone is to know by the middle of the week we will have to start looking around us and acknowledging “others” also have valid points of view.
And just so those cardinal signs, Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn, don’t feel left out, Venus and Pluto will active some anxiety about finances. A conjunction of these two planets will be in effect for the entire week. We may see financial issues played out on the world stage maybe a financial scandal, crisis or maybe some craziness in the world stock markets. On a personal level if you have planets from 9-13 degree’s of cardinal signs your financial life may need attention. If you have been careful with finances things may be fine, if you have not been good with money it can come back to bite you. Much of this depends on where this conjunct falls in your own chart. This is also an energy for attraction especially sexual attraction so you may find yourself pulled towards someone. It’s a time to be careful as passions can overcome reason.
Mid week the Sun sextile's the planet Uranus this is a great problem solving energy its also energy for “bright” ideas and flashes of brilliance. Its more than possible to hear about major scientific breakthroughs.
On Thursday January 30, 2014 at 4:39 PM EST we have a New Moon in Aquarius, this New Moon also sextile's the planet Uranus so this is a very dynamic and exciting energy. The New Moon in Aquarius is a time to bring something new into your life, where does your heart pull you, what is your inner desires that just don’t come to the surface go reach for those dreams. The sign Aquarius is all about groups and getting together with others for the larger good, so this New Moon join with others to create a better life. This is a great time to start a new group, have you wanted to join a group and start a new project this is the Moon to do so. Take a chance do something way out of your comfort zone it will allow you to expand in very positive ways.
On Friday Mercury enter Pisces and joins Neptune for a few days. For those of you who are very sensitive you may find your more attuned to everyone around you. This energy is intense but its also sensitive and compassionate. We may want to help someone, we may hear about human organization doing good work around the world. This is also an elusive energy since Mercury is about communications we may hear misinformation question all you hear and verify anything that sounds to good to be true, or to outrageous to be true. Scandals may take center stage. Those skeletons in the closet may start to rattle .
Venus goes direct Friday January 31st so if you have put off making a major financial decision or making a big purchase the time has come to go for it. For that matter use this week to do those things as the planet mercury is getting ready to go retrograde, I will talk about that more in next weeks newsletter.
