This Week in Astrology: The Week Starts With Magic

The week starts with some magic: a New Moon is Pisces is always the ideal time to focus on your dreams, it’s a time to take action on creating that “thing” that can seem impossible at other times.  The house and planets that this New Moon affect will be highlighted, so if you know your chart look to where Pisces is and take advantage of this wonderful enchanting energy.  If you don’t  know your chart in general Pisces energy is all about the subconscious I always think of this as a great time of year to evaluate your life, where do you self sabotage or shoot yourself in the foot, this may be a time to address that and change negative habit patterns.  This energy is also about your creative nature, so open up to new ideas, or take the chance and drowned yourself in creative influences that will allow your subconscious mind to come up with new and wonderful ideas.  This is also a time when your spiritual nature is triggered if you have wanted to start a spiritual routine or practice now is the time to go for it.  Its also a time to let go of those preconceived ideas you have about yourself and others. This New Moon happens on Monday March 11th at 3:51 PM EST.  As the last sign of the Zodiac Pisces is about wrapping things up, so it’s a time to let go of all that holds you back so you are ready for the energy of Aries and new starts next month.  This energy will most strongly affect the water signs, Cancer, Scorpio and Pisces.

On Tues we loose all that nice gentle energy of the prior day as the warrior Mars enters his own sign of Aries, this is a very dynamic energy and all cardinal signs, Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn will feel a jolt of energy.  Mars in Aries is aggressive, hasty and confrontational.   Its great energy for someone who is shy or inhibited not so much for someone who is naturally tense and aggressive.  In general its an energy that says  we have some explosive and confrontational energy in our future, so it behooves all of us to keep to our center and to avoid reactiveness, let those who enjoy that energy keep it in their lives and our of ours.  Mars will be in Aries until Mid April. The one huge advantage about Mars in this placement is that things get done, maybe to quickly sometimes but at least they get done.

The good news for the week is Mercury is slowing down and getting ready to go direct.  All that miscommunication and fuzziness in plans will be a thing of the past.  You can move forward on important decisions
