This Week in Astrology: Creative Juices May Flow on Friday

We start the week with Venus and Uranus in trine along with the Sun and Jupiter in a square aspect.  This energy likes to live on the edge, it wants fun.  But it can also want to much of everything, we over do, so pace yourself, especially if you’re a fire sign or have any planets in fire signs. 

As we enter the month of August we start to get some major planetary shifting.  First mercury will oppose Neptune then go retrograde this combination means we are still getting many mixed messages in all areas of our lives.  The energy we are getting is an energy of confusion, misinformation , confusion, some of us may even feel a fuzziness in our minds, things just are not clear, both personally and universally.   Mercury makes the actual move to retrograde on the second to find out more about how retrograde Mercury affects all of us you can read this article on my website.  

Then the next day the 3rs Mars goes into the sign of Cancer.  This is not especially good news for any of us, as it sets of a major configuration that is stressful. But it will be more difficult for of you who are cardinal signs, Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn.  Mars is a planet of aggression, in the sign of Cancer we can see passive aggressive behavior as well as overt anger and frustration in all level’s of life.  My expectations is our Government in this country will act even more dysfunctional  and do more blaming the “other” than taking action to fix problems, it will work world wide, but its hitting very sensitive areas in the chart of the United States.  So we are more vulnerable than others to this behavior.  We also need to be cautious as this is a volatile energy that can become explosive, so those who have grudges or anger they have not expressed can become out of control.  We may also expect some extreme weather during the entire month of August.  A positive use of this energy is using it on a physical level, it’s a great time to clean out your garage, or start some home repairs that you do yourself.  Just make sure you don’t annoy those you live with, they may not have the patience to put up with your projects.

On Friday Neptune who is currently retrograde re-enters Aquarius and sill stay their until 2012, so we return to the energy that brings.  Which is a clear more vision oriented energy.  We may find our creative juices get a new energy.  Its also a great time to go back and look at where you  need boundaries in your life so when Neptune re-enters Pisces in February  you are clear and have a direction to go in.
