The Universe Gives Us a Spectacular Present This Holiday Season

For this holiday season the universe is giving us a spectacular present.  Today’s New Moon in Capricorn is a wonderful time to put your seed or intent for the next year out to the universe.  The energy of Capricorn is that of building a firm foundation. So use this energy to plan and build. Then, tomorrow Christmas Day the planet Jupiter, our collective guardian angle, goes direct in Taurus, meaning things that have been stalled or just not working out will fall into place.  Both of these events are good news for all earth signs or anyone who has earth sign planets: Taurus, Virgo and Capricorn. 

Next week, as we lead up to the New Year, the planets tend to get a little tenser, Uranus and Pluto join the Sun in some very difficult energy.  It can show up as world wide tensions and unrest, as well as personal issues and unrest.  The Cardinal signs are the most affected by this energy, Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn.  You may be pushed into making choices or taking action in areas you would rather ignore.

The planet Neptune is finishing up its long transit through the sign of Aquarius (August of 1998 until February 2012 ), this energy will strongly affect anyone with planets in fixed signs, especially those with planets in the end degrees.  The energy of Neptune is very hazy and confusing, so those effect end up feeling confused, unsure and just plain foggy.  Neptune energy is all about dissolving our perceptions and having us look at life and issues in a new way,  Neptune is also about boundaries, to many or not enough.  So, when this planet affects you, those boundary issues become highlighted.  If you are Taurus, Scorpio or Aquarius, you may find yourself questioning things that you have accepted for a long time.

The week comes to an end with a tense energy between the Sun and Pluto.  This combination can indicate suspicious feelings of being undermined. It would not surprise me if we get some sort of alerts over the New Year weekend, I can’t say don’t pay attention, but I think it will be more hype than reality.  We have tensions that can have those who feel disempowered feel the need to act out.  It's also a time when those who like to start trouble may just feel this is a time to do so, but then we get the energy of Saturn and Neptune kicking in. They are making a wonderful trine that will bring us all back to a good spot.
