July's Last New Moon Is an Opportunity for a New Start

Today’s New Moon is a power Moon, as it is a blue moon, or the 13th New Moon, and the second New Moon in July.  This happens every year, but usually in different months, the monthly cycle of the Moon is shorter than our calendar count, so we end up with 13 instead of 12.

Each New Moon gives us an opportunity to make a new start or make our intentions for our future clear.  Each of has the New Moon in an area of our chart that is specific to us on a personal level, so if you know your chart and you know where the sign Leo falls in your chart you can pin point where in your life you want to make your intent clear.  But in general a New Moon in Leo is about our own sense of who we are, how much we honor our personal needs vs. the needs of those who may depend on us.  It’s also about our creative output and how we can bring something special into any project, job or relationship we have.  So today is the day to look deep within and find what you need in your life to feel you are honoring yourself and your needs, once you figure it out, put your needs on paper and let the universe know how you plan on achieving your goal.  You will be pleasantly surprised at how well the universe responds.
