This is a big week astrologically. First we are experiencing the lessening of the polarizing energy created by the Uranus Pluto square, this energy will still be with us but not in such a powerful way, as the month moves along we will see less of this black and white my way or the highway energy. It will come back but not for a while so enjoy the release of some tension.
The other major events of the week are several planets change signs, first we have Venus moving into Virgo on Wed then immediately opposing Neptune, this energy will give us an opportunity to daydream and dig deep into our creative nature. We can believe the impossible is possible and then find out we are right. On Friday Both Mercury and Saturn enter the sign of Scorpio. Mercury in Scorpio is a sharp and penetrating energy, we can hear about everything from conspiracy theories to new medical breakthroughs. Saturn in Scorpio is a huge deal and it will remain in the sign for 2 1/2 years. This will affect all the fixed signs, Taurus, Leo, Scorpio and Aquarius. Saturn transits or Saturn affecting our chart in a major way brings a time of reckoning and a time of review, Saturn forces us to look at what is right in our life what is wrong in our life and how we need to proceed to fix it. Those things we run from don’t want to face or sweep under the rug come back to haunt us. This is why Saturn is called the lord of karma. Its not unusual to feel less energetic during this time, the fixed signs, as the universe wants you to slow down and look at your life. We will talk a lot about Saturn over the next couple of years. The good news for cardinal signs Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn are all breathing a sigh of relief as Saturn has left their part of the sky. On a universal level this energy is a rebuilding energy, we now have the ability to take what has happened over the past several years and start the climb upwards to repair it.
I have to make a shout out to my daughter Angie this week as her Birthday is on Oct. 2nd I also have a dear friend with a birthday on the same day. Lucky them to have their birthdays on the best day of this week as Venus and Saturn are sextile each other. Great time for getting gifts that will have both sentimental and long lasting value.
