Each planet has a different amount of time it takes to travel around the Sun our planet the Earth takes a little more than 365 days which is an Earth year. Planets close to the Sun like Mercury and Venus don’t take as long, Mercury takes 88 days or about a quarter of an Earth year, Venus takes 224.7 days or a little more than an Earth year, Mars takes 687 days or about a year and three quarters in Earth time, the outer planets take much longer starting with Jupiter who takes 4,332.6 day or a little under 12 Earth years, Saturn takes 10,759.2 days or about 29 and a half Earth years, Uranus takes 30,685.4 days or 84 Earth year, Neptune takes 60, 189 days or 164.8 Earth years, Pluto takes 90,777.6 days or 248.58 Earth years.
