A New Moon Week

This week's New Moon will bring us the opportunity to make plans and come up with ideas on how to better understand and communicate our needs.  The New Moon in Gemini will occur on June 19 at 11:03 AM EST. 

Gemini is a sign that is all about giving and receiving information, so figure out how to get across what YOU want or think in a clear way. This Moon gain importance because it precedes some difficult energy next week.  If we all use this week as a way to look at our style of discussion as well as how we digest information we may have an easier time understand the frustrations of others.  Next week we have the first of 7 exact squares between he planets Uranus and Pluto, the last time we had such intense energy was in the 60’ when these planets conducted each other.  I will talk about this energy more next week. 

We also have the Sun’s entry into Cancer on Wednesday June 20th, this is the official start of the summer season.  The Sun in Cancer heralds a time of family.  It’s a time to gather and enjoy those you love. The Sun will trine the planet Neptune as it goes through the first few degrees of Cancer, this is a great energy for escaping the crazy rush of everyday life.  It’s a great time to take a vacation or go on a day trip with the one you love, its both a relaxing and romantic energy, especially if you are one of the water signs, Cancer, Scorpio or Pisces. 

We also have a Mercury Saturn square midweek, this will affect the cardinal signs, Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn.  Miscommunications or misunderstandings could have you feeling a little off or overwhelmed.  Do your best not to allow hurt feelings to interfere with how you feel about yourself and or your life in general. 

The end of the week, Friday, Saturday and Sunday bring us the energy of Jupiter square Neptune, these two planets together can allow us to have faith and hope that all will turn out well. But they can also become overly enamored of their own ideas or ideologies.  Its not a time to push your ideas on others as they will not like it or respond well.  Its also a time when on the world stage you may find fundamental religion highlighted, this energy has those who feel they are “righteous” can feel more embolden. 

This week itself is not a bad week, but it’s a build up towards some intense energy for next week.  The most positive thing you can do for yourself is relax and enjoy those you love.
