Astrological Tidbit– Meteor showers are cause by dust released from comets as they fly through our solar system, or they can be from comets that have broken up but still travel in the orbit of the parent comet. We see the showers when Earth travel through a trail of debris in its yearly orbit around the Sun.  This is why we can predict when a Meteor shower will happen.  Each year we are treated to many of these events.  This week Earth is traveling through debris that comes from Haley’s comet, on the nights of May 5th & 6th we can expect the peak of this show, meaning we can expect 30 meteors or more per house, the peak will be right before Dawn on the morning of May 6th.  Wishing on a fallen star is a centuries old tradition, the ancients believed the God’s were sending us luck.  So if you see  Meteor make sure you make a wish
