AND THE WINNER IS.....
The winner of the 2012 Greater Westhampton Chamber of Commerce poster contest art show is Frank Latorre of Eastport. Congratulations Frank!!
The Greater Westhampton Chamber of Commerce held its annual art contest to choose the canvas to be featured as the 2012 Chamber poster. For the second year in a row Frank Latorre entered the winning piece. Those of us who are beach lovers will readily identify with the airplane towing a banner across our beautiful beaches. Congratulations Frank, and thank you for being involved in the contest. The Chamber also thanks all of the 29 artists who submitted fabulous work for the contest. I have attended many years of these contests and I was inspired by the quality and content of the art. A special thank you to Mary & Kevin Fitzgerald of the Fitzgerald Gallery on Main Street in Westhampton Beach for overseeing the collection, display and return of all the original art for the contest. And thank you to Casa Basso for the delicious hors d'oeuvres and dinner. It was a fun and exciting night.
