My son-in-law waited 5 hours on Larkfield Rd for $40 of gas on Saturday.

Go to http://newyork.cbslocal.com/ and click on "gas near you" in the yellow links box. Then use the map to find a station near you. It tells you wait times as well. It was right on when I tried it

Gas Update: For West Islip folk and those nearby...the Shell on montauk and oak neck (just on the east side of Robert Moses Causeway next to Nonnina's restaurant) is open and the car line is pretty long BUT it was NO WAIT for walk-up cannisters. I mean, no line whatsover. I drove by, saw 2 people at 2 islands filling up cannisters, stopped, asked what the deal was and 2 islands are reserved for walk ups. And bonus...it's not just cash. They take cards at the pump! Sorry, didn't get the cost per gallon but I think it's around $4.20 or so.
