Film: The 'Black Beast' in the Finale of 'Men Who Built America'

Sunday's finale of the History Channel's 'Men Who Built America' featured a reenactment of the 1901 'Race That Changed the World.'

Sunday's finale of the History Channel's "Men Who Built America" featured  a re-enactment of the 1901 "Race That Changed the World" with the dashing Henry Ford (played in the race by Ed LaBounty in his 1913 White) and the very handsome Alexander Winton (played by me in the 1909 Alco Black Beast). The race was filmed in July 2012 on the fields and back roads of the Old Bethpage Village Restoration.

The very exciting race sequence (with Ed and I driving) lasts 1 minute and 10 seconds and begins at the 2:58 mark of this brief five-minute film.

Additonal behind the scenes information on this mini-series is posted on VanderbiltCupRaces.com.

Enjoy,
