VanderbiltCupRaces.com contributor Walter McCarthy has forwarded a July 1944 article by driver Joe Tracy published in Veteran Motor Car Club of America's journal Bulb Horn. Illustrations were provided by the prominent artist Peter Helck.

Walter notes the article "gives a lot of insight and details from the Vanderbilt Cup Races". Highlights of the article supplemented by images from my collection are posted on VanderbiltCupRaces.com.
