The price of a historical, hexagonal shaped house at 37 Beach Lane in Westhampton Beach has dropped by a million dollars. The house, rumored to be designed by architect Stanford White, is now on the market for  $4,950,000.

According to listing agent, Aimee Fitzpatrick Martin, of Prudential Douglas Elliman Real Estate, the property includes two separate lots, one with the historic, a charming cottage, heated pool, formal gardens and tennis court with the second lot containing a detached garage, and a 70x90 ft croquet court.

The two-story, 5 bedroom, 3.5 bath house itself, says Martin is in a Mediterranean Revival-style an features an entrance stairway/music room that is filled with Old Hollywood glamour. And the yard, said Martin has breathtaking formal Italianate gardens with striking sculptures.
