History Being Restored: The Pearlroth House

Once it is restored, the house will be open to tours.

Sitting on Dune Road in Westhampton Beach many may have passed by the diamond-shaped building, known as the The Pearlroth House or the Box Kite, and wondered about its history.

According to a recent post on Curbed Hamptons, the 600 square-foot house, was built in 1959 by architect Andrew Geller.

The design of each diamond shape features, according to Curbed, "Three rooms and a bathroom, while between them is a living space enclosed by glass."
