The East Wind, Villa Paul and Hampton Music are all said to be haunted.

And if you've seen any of the following ghosts or other ghosts in Hampton Bays, share your story by posting in the comment section below.

The Lady of Red Creek

According to local lore for generations, the Lady of Red Creek is fabled to haunt passing motorists on a backwoods shortcut from the Squiretown section of town to Riverhead-bound Route 24. While little is documented beyond oral tradition, the spirit is believed to be a missionary woman killed during colonial times.

The Newtown Road Disturbance

According to Paranormal investigator Joe Giaquinto, a Hampton Bays native and co-author of Ghosts of Long Island with Keriann Flanagan-Brosky, there is an energy surrounding the open hillside near the fork of Newtown and Sunset by the former Holzman Duck Farm.

The Ghost of East Wind

The East Wind, a private home, is said to be one of the most haunted locations in Hampton Bays. Located on Springville-Rampasture Road, the area was notorious in the days of prohibition and for corrupt political officials.

Good Ground Cemetery's Spirits

About a year ago, Paranormal investigator Joe Giaquinto took Patch on a ghost hunt at Good Ground Cemetery. While there Giaquinto said he felt the presence of many spirits.

The Villa Paul Apparition

Over the years, workers and customers have sworn that they have witnessed lady specter and phantom pooch at Villa Paul. The restaurant has shared a photo in which a shadow-like figure appears in the back right corner. According to the photographer, there was no one else in the room when the photo was taken.

Hampton Music

The 84-year old building housing Hampton Music is said to be haunted by spirits, who often startle the business' owner from time to time.
