Student Government to Hold Polar Bear Plunge
The event will be held on Saturday at 11:00 a.m.
The Student Government at Westhampton Beach High School is asking willing community members to help raise money for the Church of the Immaculate Conception’s Adopt-a-Family program by braving the cold and taking a Polar Bear Plunge.
The first annual plunge is set for Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at Rogers Beach in Westhampton Beach with registration set to start at 10:30 a.m.
Those looking to participate are asked to obtain sponsors with a minimum donation of $15 for pre-registration and $20 for registration on the day of the event.
Sponsor forms can be picked up at the main office of the high school or downloaded by clicking here. Participants must also sign a waiver, which can be downloaded here.
