Shop and Help the Animal Shelter With New App
A kick-off event was held at the Page Restaurant in Sag Harbor.
The Friends of the Southampton Animal Shelter have launched a new fundraising tool — an app that gives Southampton Animal Shelter supports discounts at local stores.
The new app, which was unveiled at an event Page Restaurant in Sag Harbor recently, specifically offers over 80 coupons and discounts from local merchants with more businesses being added by the day, according to the Friends of the Shelter.
Among some of the businesses participating are 73 Main, Good Westhampton, Westhampton Nail and Spa, Tonino's Pizza and Sand Castle Kids.

The new app can be purchased for Smartphone, Iphone, Android, Blackberry or Windows for $15.

"SASF Supporters get great savings and at the same time they know they are helping out the homeless shelter pets. It’s a great opportunity for the shelter,” said Linda Goldsmith, SASF’s public relations & marketing administrator. “We get a new source of revenue, and the community of supporters and our homeless pets will benefit! It’s a win win for everyone involved!”
