Southampton Pet of the Week: Romeo is Looking for Love
Southampton has some loving pets available for adoption.
This week, the Southampton Animal Shelter is looking to find a home for Romeo, a shy, 2-year-old kitty who is looking for his one true love...a home.
According to Linda Goldsmith, of the Southampton Animal Shelter, the adoption fee for all cats is being waived through the month of May.
And if Romeo is not the pet your are looking for, the shelter is holding an open house on June 1 and 2 from 11:00 a.m. to 3 p.m. Adoptions are free to all qualified adopters.
All animals are licensed, up to date on their vaccinations, micro-chipped and have been spayed or neutered. Adoption fees typically range from $40 to $60 for a cat and from $60 to $125 for a dog.
To adopt Romeo or any of the other animals available for adoption, call the shelter at 631-728-7387 or visit them at 102 Old Riverhead Road in Hampton Bays.
