Sweet Woodland Farm presents…….
a presentation in raising backyard chickens.

Saturday, March 8th at 2:00 pm (rain date: Sun. Nov. 17th)


In this program participants will learn the basics of what raising
chickens in your own backyard is all about. Chickens give us fresh
eggs, manure for the garden, tick control, and endless entertainment.
What more could you ask for in a pet?!

Topics will include;
Brooder set up
How to care for day old chicks
The chicken coop
How to care for grown chickens
Behavior, egg-laying, broodiness, and health

There is a suggested donation of $10/adult and children are welcome to attend or play for free.
