Seeds and Seedlings with the Peconic Land Trust

Extra hands are needed! Join the Peconic Land Trust for their annual seeding workshop, and help Quail Hill Farm get a head start on this year’s crops. Work side by side with Scott Chaskey, Farm Director, to plant a variety of seeds in the trays destined for the greenhouse, and learn about the importance of making and using compost.

All participants are invited to return on May 17 to transplant the seedlings into the fields of the Farm.

Free!  Program is rain or shine. Please park on Deep Lane, reached via Town Lane or Side Hill Lane, and meet Scott at the farm’s workshop.  For more information, please contact the Peconic Land Trust at 631.283.3195.
