Walk to End Alzheimers

Alzheimer’s Association Long Island will have its second East End Walk to End Alzheimer’s/Fall Festival on October 20 at the intersection of Main Street and the Village Green (near the gazebo) in Westhampton Beach. Registration begins at 9 a.m., followed by the opening ceremony at 10 a.m. and the Walk at 11 a.m.


The opening ceremony will feature entertainment by the New York USA Troupe, recognition of all participating team captains and a “Promise Garden” ceremony. After the Walk, participants will be treated to lunch. There will also be a petting zoo, pony rides and face painting for the children.  


There is no registration fee for teams or walkers who raise donations for the Walk. For those who wish to register the day of  the Walk, general admission is $25 for adults, $10 for teens, and $5.00 for children two years of age and older. Children under 2 are free. Family discount packages (two adults and two children) are available for $30.00. All the proceeds will go to support AALI’s mission to fight the dreaded disease.
