Art Gallery at the Quogue Library: Light and Land - Impressionistic Oil Landscapes by Bobbie Braun

ARTIST'S RECEPTION: SUNDAY, JANUARY 6TH FROM 2:30 - 4:30 P.M. ALL ARE WELCOME


Bobbie Braun, a Bridgehampton artist, expresses her creative vision through her oil painting.  Her impressionistic landscapes draw heavily on the lush skyscapes and rich seascapes of the East End of Long Island, as well as from her travels, most recently to Nicaragua.


Ms. Braun has a BFA from Boston University and an AAS in design from the Parson’s School in New York City.  She had an active career in interior design, including operating her own design firm.  She has taught at Parsons and the New School and has participated in the well-known Designers’ Showcases.

The artist has shown her work in galleries in Florida, Texas and throughout the Hamptons, including most recently at Pierre’s restaurant in Bridgehampton.  Her creative endeavors also include designing a line of hand-made precious gem jewelry.  


Art Gallery Committee members Lulie Morrisey and Christy Murray are Co- Chairs of this show. The exhibit will be on display from Thursday, January 3 to Tuesday, January 29.
