Conversations with the Author - Tim Weiner

The Quogue Library's Conversations with the Author series continues with Tim Weiner, author of Enemies: A History of the FBI.

Tim Weiner has won the Pulitzer Prize and the National Book Award for his writing on vital issues of American national security. As a correspondent for The New York Times, he covered the Central Intelligence Agency and the Pentagon in Washington, and reported on war and terrorism from Afghanistan, Pakistan, the Sudan, and many other nations over the course of 15 years. 

The week of August 3rd marks the 40th anniversary of Nixon's resignation. Tim will speak about how the FBI and J. Edgar Hoover helped to bring down Nixon.

This event will take place on the beautiful grounds of the library. Tickets are $20 each (cash or check only please) and are on sale now. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee tickets will be available at the door on the day of the event. A book signing and reception will follow Mr. Weiner's lecture.
