Community Forum to discuss Canoe Place Inn Proposal
Monday, November 18th at 6:30 p.m. the Hampton Bays Civic Association will hold its monthly meeting, this time at the Hampton Bays Middle School Cafetorium, 70 Ponquogue Avenue in Hampton Bays. All are welcome.
At this month’s meeting the HBCA is conducting a public forum to examine the Canoe Place Inn proposal currently in front of the Town Board for an early December hearing.
With so much misinformation, rumor, and hearsay surrounding this subject, this is an opportunity to hear a panel of speakers present the facts regarding the proposal, and discuss the long and short-term implications for our Hampton Bays community. The forum will include a brainstorming workshop to create a comprehensive presentation of community views to present to the Town Board at its final scheduled hearing on December 10th.
