Center for Creative Retirement-Today's Program

The Center for Creative Retirement (CCR) meets Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, mornings from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., and afternoons from noon to 1 p.m. Retirees seeking an intellectual challenge and social engagement will find in the program just what they are seeking.

Each day brings a fresh perspective on some topic that the members have chosen as part of the syllabus. CCR volunteers research and present the topics. As a member, you can look forward to a rich tapestry of new facts and perspectives.

This morning, 10 a.m.-11:30 a.m., brings us back to the late 1940s--the Berlin Airlift--one of the U.S.A.'s finest efforts.  Hear about how we broke the Soviet Union's blockade of the city.

Our noon session concludes the day with one hour on "Advertising Executives and Their Creativity."  The lecture and video is part of CCR's course, "Advertising and Consumerism in the U.S.A."
