Shock Ice Cream Cone Case continues 3years later

The Village of WHB has defended it's right to spend over 18,000 of taxpayers money to Appeal Judge Snead's  dismissal decision of The Shock Ice Cream Cone Case.
The village said it has to uphold the Sign Ordinance Code or Chaos will break out in WHB ? What does this mean ? What is the fear here that has prompted the village to hire special council at a rate of 190.00 an hour,no cap, the sky's the limit. Newsday picked up the story last week as well as CBS News and Fox 5 saw this article to be newsworthy as well. These kind of ridiculous cases make the news from time to time. CBS has invited me back this week to appear on  a show to air next week.
This case has been appealed to the Appellate Term in Brooklyn after a 2year lengthy  court battle in the WHB Villages Justice Court. Judge Snead threw the case out before trial he felt the need to dismiss the case ,sighting 10 reasons to dismiss this case.the fine if Shock was found guilty of the violation would have been 350.00, common sense tells me there is something is very wrong here.
Spending this kind of money on a silly case is ludicrous .is this village being fiscally responsible or is there a frivolous  waste of taxpayers money, I think we all know the reason and we are all shaking our head and asking why is the village continuing to fight this case ?
