Westhampton Beach Farmer's Market Closes For The Season

The Westhampton Chamber of Commerce said the market had a great run this year.

The popular , which is run by the Westhampton Chamber of Commerce, officially closed for the season on Saturday. Karen McNamara, of the Westhampton Chamber of Commerce, said the season, which started in May, ended with a bang.

At the peek of the summer, McNamara, said the market hosted 42 farmers, vendors, growers and producers with ten new booths going to faithful returning participatants.

"We were at full capasity, with a waiting list," said McNamera, noting that the market, which sits at 85 Mill Road, is limited in size and location.

Over the summer, McNamera said the market was also voted as the Best East End market by Dan's Papers

"We are thankful to all those who voted to award us with the Platinum Award this year," said McNamera.
