Westhampton Free Library Budget Passes

Aside from approving the Westhampton Beach School budget voters said yes to the Westhampton Free library budget.

While voting to support  on Tuesday, voters also approved the  budget that carries a .97 percent tax levy.

The Westhampton Free Library’s $2.56 million budget passed with 540 votes to 281.

 , the library's director, said she was pleased with the outcome of the vote and said she is looking forward to the new services the library will now be able to provide in the next year.

Expanded services include additional books, periodicals and , said Zubiller.

"We thank the community for their support," said Zubiller, who says the budget was crafted with the community in mind.
