After issuing two stop-work orders, the Village of Westhampton Beach has decided to file a lawsuit against Buckhead's Grill, a new eatery that was slated to open in August in the formerFinn's site on Old Riverhead Road that the village said has done work on the site without proper permits.

In celebrating the 40th anniversary of the Clean Water Act on Tuesday, Kevin McAllister, thePeconic Baykeeper, not only delivered a grim outlook for East End waterways, but petitioned the Department of Environmental Conservation to take action to reduce nitrogen levels now — or face a lawsuit.

Those heading through Westhampton Beach on Wednesday morning may have noticed it looks more like the holiday season as opposed to fall. That's because the USA network's Royal Pains is filming for it's fourth season. On location were actors Paulo Costanzo and Brooke D’Orsay.
