According to Southampton Town Police, a Chevrolet Suburban rolled over in Hampton Bays on the Flanders Road Sunrise Highway exit ramp. Emergency responders were called around 11:20 a.m. to the single car accident. Police say both the driver, a female and the passenger were injured in the crash, which police said occurred when the driver attempted to correct her turn onto the exit ramp.

5. House Fire On Ponquogue Avenue

On Thursday afternoon at about 3:12 p.m. the Hampton Bays Fire Department and the Hampton Bays Ambulance were called to a residential blaze at 33 Ponquogue Avenue in Hampton Bays. All residents evacuated with their pets and one fire fighter, who was complaining of chest pain, was taken to the hospital.
