Holly-- I think you might be a customer? If your house is the house with the whiskey barrel at the end , you are pretty high up.. It flooded badly, but your house is elevated enough where I think you are fine. Janine- There was some tidal surge, but I didn't see anything out of the ordinary when I drove by today. Maryann- Apaucuck point did have some pretty serious flooding.. Will check honeysuckle in the morning though.. You live in a tough spot where everyone is at different elevations which makes this hard to answer. Myrna- This is a road that we didn't have access to today as it was in the flood area. I will also try to check tomorrow.

Do you now anything about Aspatuck Road south of Howell Ave?
Aspatuck Gardens October 30, 2012 at 10:53 PM
Sharon- If there is any road we know about it's Aspatuck Road- No problems at all with flooding. Some trees down as you get closer to main, but I didn't see any actually on houses.

If you happen to go by the Sandpiper apartments at 473 Dune Road on your rounds tomorrow, I'd appreciate if you could post a photo or observation. Thanks for all your help.

Hi, we would love to know anything about Shore Road in Westhampton. Any chance we could get to the house today? Thanks so much for any info.
Leslie Profeta October 31, 2012 at 12:36 PM
Sorry to have bothered you again - I just found the answer from yesterday. Thanks so much. I assume there is little change.
Erica Jackson (Editor) October 31, 2012 at 01:14 PM
Linda, most of Westhampton was without power. I was in the area yesterday, mostly just downed trees and power lines.
Erica Jackson (Editor) October 31, 2012 at 01:15 PM
Jenn, Dune Road is still closed, could be for days. Here is the latest: http://patch.com/A-zgQV

Any info on Pawnee St., specifically right on the bay? Have not heard from family since Monday afternoon.
JoAnne McKeon November 01, 2012 at 01:51 PM
I had a family member go out to my house, at Marlin road in shinnecock shores. I have a bulk head behind my house and I am happy to say I had no damage, my house is dry. For anyone along the bay on shinnecock road, I am sorry to say, had severe damage.
JoAnne McKeon November 01, 2012 at 01:54 PM
For anyone who has friends or family in Shinnecock Shores Association, I am being told that if you have a basement, it would be flooded, because the water came up the road, and maybe your garage would have water, and still no electric....
