Police: Speonk Minor Charged With Grand Larceny
Following the theft of a laptop, police arrested a 12-year-old.
A 12-year-old male from Speonk has been charged with a felony in connection with a stolen Macbook laptop, according to .
Police say an investigation into a report of a stolen laptop from the Remsenburg School District on Dec. 13, 2011 led them to the minor who resides on Montauk Highway in Speonk.
Police say they charged the minor with grand larceny in the 4th degree, a felony, on Jan. 24. He was released to his parents after his arrest, police said.
