Photos: Westhampton Beach Village Marina Flooded

Waters are rising at the village marina.

As the Village of Westhampton Beach issued a mandatory evacuation of its Category 2 Flood Zone on Monday morning, the Village Marina had already started to flood.

The marina, does frequently flood in storm events; however, Hurricane Sandy is expected to bring more rain, wind and additional flooding.

During Hurricane Irene, waters flooded Library Avenue extension and on Friday, Paul Houlihan, the building and zoning administrator for the village, said he would not be surprised if waters reach higher than they did during Irene.

MY SANDY VIDEO / ONE OF 29 ( I DID NOT EVACUATE) CAME OUT UPSIDE DOWN ON YOUR SITE...! MoneyBoque Bay. Over 5 feet of Water / Winds from Due EAST / Whereas "IRENE" was from due South. Massive difference. Please go to YouTube Enter EMLUSTY ( Eric M Lustgarten) The Click on EMLUSTY's CHANNEL You will find Over 5 Gigs of Real Time Videos / Edited at Day and Night During Storm and Full Moon Flood Tide Absolute Peak. They are available in High Def ( took to long to upload.) For INCREDIBLE PERSPECTIVE : PLEASE VIEW THE 3 IRENE DAYLIGHT VIDEOS ALSO AT FULL FOOD TIDE AND ABSOLUTE FULL MOON / OCT 28TH 1011....THEY ARE EXTREMELY ENTERTAINING / As well as instructive.....As" Lady IRENE " Was a mere "LOLITA" compared to the "Wrathful Bitch SANDY" MY ADVISE : TURN UP THE VOLUME...BEST EMLUSTY...!!! ( Will Post one or two short clips from I phone and post You tube Links. VERY WORTH IT...YOU have nothing like it.
