Photos: Students Meet Air National Guard Members

The guard members visited the students earlier this month.

Remsenburg-Speonk Elementary School students had an opportunity to learn more about the Air National Guard’s 106th Rescue Wing earlier this month as five members of the guard sat to speak with students.

Students listened intently as the guard members explained to students what they do on a day-to-day basis and missions that they have participated in.

The students also helped pack boxes filled with goods, including socks and cookies, that will be shipped to 106th members who are serving oversees. The items were donated by Rocco Carriero of Rocco A. Carriero & Associates
