PHOTOS: Seal Heads Back Home

On Thursday afternoon, the Riverhead Foundation released Angelina in Hampton Bays.

With a crowd watching, Angelina, a gray seal pup, who was found malnourished on Feb. 1 in Robert Moses State Park was released back into the wild.

She was released by the Riverhead Foundation at 11:30 on Thursday on the bay side under the Ponquogue Bridge in Hampton Bays.

There is another seal release scheduled for Sunday, April 15 at 1 p.m. in the same location. Going home is Savannah.
