The students attend the Ed & Phyllis Davis Wellness Institute in Hampton Bays.

Three students from Southampton's Hospital's Ed & Phyllis Davis Wellness Institute in Hampton Bays earned yellow belts after a promotion test recently.

The students, Joseph Lucas, Christopher Stutt, Scott Robinson take classes from Sensei Patrick McGregor and Sensei John Turnbull as part of the wellness center's Karate for Kids program.

The wellness center aims to combine a clinical and a holistic approach to wellness for those undergoing medical treatment and for those who are well and would like to be proactive in maintaining their health and well-being.
